Care Instructions

• Vacuum regularly on low suction without the beater bar. Pay particular attention to the curved edges — debris tends to collect along the arc silhouette. Vacuum in the direction of the pile.
• Blot spills immediately with a clean dry cloth. Never rub — always blot gently. On a shaped carpet, spills near the edges need especially prompt attention as the bound edge can absorb liquid quickly.
• Spot clean with a mild detergent and cold water only. Avoid saturating the edges — the latex binding is sensitive to prolonged moisture exposure.
• Do not machine wash, soak, or tumble dry. The hand-bound irregular edge and latex backing are both vulnerable to excess water and heat.
• Lay flat to dry if the carpet gets damp — in a well-ventilated, shaded area. Never hang an irregular shaped carpet to dry as the weight will distort the arced silhouette.
• Professional cleaning recommended every 12–18 months — use a specialist experienced with hand tufted and shaped carpets.
• Use a non-slip pad cut to the approximate shape of the carpet to prevent movement and protect the bound edges from floor abrasion.
• Store flat or rolled loosely — never fold. Folding an irregular shaped carpet along the arcs will permanently crease the pile and distort the silhouette.
